Psychoanalysis is not the kind of therapy where you will find standardised advice or techniques. It does not aim to adapt people to predefined ideas of normality, nor does it focus on a symptom-based or symptom-reduction approach. Rather, psychoanalysis aims to help each person explore and engage with the root causes of their difficulties within the context of their life and unique personal history.

You are welcome to get in touch to arrange an initial consultation, which is free of charge. We discuss what brings you to psychoanalysis at this moment in your life and the possibility of working together. You are welcome to ask questions about whether my approach is what you are looking for. We will also discuss practical matters such as the frequency of sessions and the fee.

In psychoanalysis, money has symbolic meanings, so the fee varies depending on your individual financial circumstances.

Sessions are variable in length and can last up to 50 minutes.

Psychoanalysis takes time and is open-ended. While it can be helpful to talk through and plan an ending together, the duration of the treatment is ultimately up to you.

My cancellation notice period is 48 hours, from Monday to Friday. Sessions cancelled outside this notice period are due full payment.

My practice is located in London SW12 (Clapham / Balham, South London), a few minutes' walk from Clapham South Underground station.

I also offer online sessions for those living outside London or overseas.
