My work is oriented by the theory and practice of Sigmund Freud and Jacques Lacan.
I am currently undergoing clinical training in psychoanalysis at the Centre for Freudian Analysis and Research – CFAR, and I am a registered UKCP trainee member. I abide by both CFAR and the UKCP Code of Ethics.
Alongside my private practice, I am an honorary psychotherapist at WLM Highbury Counselling Centre - HCC. I am also part of the Psychosis Therapy Project at Islington Mind, working psychoanalytic with people who experience psychosis. I earlier held a placement for two years at the City & Guilds of London Art School providing psychoanalytic psychotherapy to students from the BA and MA courses.
The central part of my psychoanalytic formation has been my own personal analysis alongside my clinical practice and ongoing engagement in supervision.
Prior to psychoanalytic formation, my career has involved roles in the heritage and financial services industries. I was born in Brazil where I first graduated, and before immigrating to the UK in 2009 I was awarded a master’s degree from the University of Salamanca.
