Daniela Oliveira Grund, Psychoanalyst member of CFAR, UKCP & CPJA
I am a psychoanalyst originally from Brazil, living and working in London, and I work in English and Portuguese.
I began my psychoanalytic formation in 2016 and completed the clinical training with the Centre for Freudian Analysis and Research (CFAR) in the United Kingdom, of which I am a member.
Before establishing my private practice in London, I gained experience through placements and voluntary work. At City & Guilds of London Art School, I provided psychoanalytic psychotherapy to students pursuing BA and MA courses. I also worked with the Psychosis Therapy Project (PTP) at Islington Mind, providing psychotherapy to people experiencing psychosis. Additionally, I worked with adults in long-term psychotherapy at the WLM Highbury Counselling Centre (HCC) and conducted assessment interviews with new clients. Earlier, I volunteered at Refuge on the National Domestic Abuse Helpline, where I offered listening and support to women experiencing domestic violence.
I am part of Bubble & Speak, a drop-in established in 2016 and inspired by the tradition of La Maison Verte, initiated by the French child psychoanalyst Françoise Dolto. We offer a space for children under four years old, together with their parents and carers, to begin socialising and playing. We aim to support young children in the early development of their individuality, while also supporting parents and carers in navigating the challenges of raising them.
